I always feel the aches in my shoulder, neck and back muscles. How do I reduce these aches and pains?
Splitting your bag load.
A too heavy bag can stress and strain your shoulder, neck and back muscle, causing muscle aches and pains.
Your handbag should not be more than 10% of your weight. If it is, divide them into two separate bags and hold them at each side of your body.
Backpacks are the best as they distribute the weight evenly across your back, but if backpack is not your style, go for a bag with short strap as the closer you carry to your body, the less strain it will cause.
And do remember to switch sides frequently.
